API Terms of Use

An application programming interface (API) is a computing interface which defines interactions between multiple software intermediaries. It defines the kinds of calls or requests that can be made, how to make them, the data formats that should be used, the conventions to follow, etc.

Thank you for using the Alto API (the “Alto API” or “Vebra Solutions API” or “the API”). The API is owned and operated by Vebra Solutions Limited (“Vebra Solutions”, “Alto”, “We”, “Us”), registered in England and Wales under company number 04529917 whose registered address is The Cooperage, 5 Copper Row, London, SE1 2LH.

By accessing and using the Product API (the “API”): (i) you confirm, warrant and represent that as a user you are authorised to purchase services and products from Vebra Solutions and its affiliates on behalf of the organisation you represent (“you” or “your organisation”) and bind your organisation to the API terms of use; and (ii) you explicitly agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions (“Terms”, “Terms of Use”, “Terms and Conditions”, “Agreement”), which Vebra Solutions reserve the right to change at any time, with or without notice to you, in our sole and absolute discretion. Please read these terms regularly to ensure that you are familiar with the current terms of use and are conforming to the most recent version of these terms. The API terms of use form a binding legal agreement between us and you.

The API is a service that allows Vebra Solutions customers to order additional products and services from Vebra Solutions.

All intellectual property rights in the API, additional products and services belong to Vebra Solutions and no rights are transferred to you.

Ordering products and services through the API

All additional products and services ordered through the API shall be purchased from Vebra Solutions subject to and on the terms of your existing contract with Vebra Solutions (including the https://www.zoopla.co.uk/members/terms/) (“Contract”) including those relating to fees.

On ordering additional products and services via the API you will be liable to pay fees for those additional products and services in accordance with the terms of your Contract. If a volume or usage cap applies in your Contract you will be responsible for monitoring usage against that cap and any orders in excess of the cap will be charged in full in accordance with your Contract. If no fees are specified in your Contract, Vebra Solutions’s prevailing rates for the additional products and services shall apply.

Nothing in these terms shall be construed as creating an employer-employee relationship, a partnership, or a joint venture between Vebra Solutions and you.

You agree to hold harmless and indemnify Vebra Solutions, its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, employees, and suppliers, from and against any third party claim arising from or in any way related to your or your users’ use of the Vebra Solutions API or Vebra Solutions Data, use of Vebra Solutions Brand & Links other than as set out in the Vebra Solutions documentation and guidelines.

This API including the data, materials and services are provided on an as is basis without any warranties either explicit or implicit. You expressly agree that the use of this site and the API, including all content or data distributed by or downloaded from the service, is at your sole risk. We disclaim all warranties, explicit or implicit, including but not limited to implied warranties or merchantability fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement as to the information, materials, and content on the site. We do not represent or warrant that materials in this site are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.

In no event shall Vebra Solutions, any of its affiliated entities or its or their officers, directors, agents, partners, employees, advertisers, or data providers be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, consequential or punitive damages (including but not limited to loss of use, loss of profits, or loss of data) whether in an action in contract, tort, (including but not limited to negligence), equity or otherwise, arising out of or in any way connected with the use of the Vebra Solutions API.

The construction, validity and performance of these API Terms of Use and all non-contractual obligations arising from or connected with these Terms of Use shall be governed by English law and you hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts to resolve any dispute between them.
